Marie-Claude Besner works as an engineer for the Service de l’eau at the City of Montreal. She specializes on issues related to water quality from source to tap. Among her projects, she oversees the work on vulnerability assessments of drinking water sources of the agglomeration of Montreal. Since October 2019, she also acts as the Vice-Chair of the Water sector with Réseau Environnement.
