An event organized by Réseau Environnement and its community of experts

A biennial event, Americana has been organized by Réseau Environnement ever since its beginnings in 1995. The largest network of environmental experts in the province of Quebec, Réseau Environnement is a reference of undisputed excellence, which acts as a catalyst for solutions towards a sustainable society.

Réseau Environnement represents over 2000 environmental professionals working in the private, public, municipal and para-public sectors. For over 50 years, this non-profit organization has been committed to promoting environmental best practices and innovation. To achieve this, the association organizes many events destined to sharing new knowledge in the environmental industry. It also offers municipalities support and excellence programs pertaining to climate change, water and waste management. Réseau Environnement also developed the innovative Traces Québec, the only waste tracking tool in Quebec, which ensures the responsible management of contaminated soils, among other uses.

Drawing on the expertise of its members, Réseau Environnement also takes positions on many issues related to its areas of activity, which include water, air and waste management, climate change, soil and groundwater, and biodiversity.
