With a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from HEC Montréal and a master’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Sherbrooke, Julie Labelle has been Coordinator and Environmental Development Officer for the RCM of Vaudreuil-Soulanges since 2016. Responsible for the RCM’s residual materials management plan, Julie also oversaw the development and implementation of the first regional action plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, under the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ Partners Program in climate protection. For over 10 years, she worked with a large corporation to establish an environmental management system and improve waste management processes. Passionate about the environment and sustainable development, Julie works to reduce our environmental footprint to leave a healthy earth for our children and future generations.
