Based on the results of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), it is clear that populations who are already the most vulnerable and marginalized will be the most adversely affected. In fact, around the world, women have less access than men to resources that would increase their ability to adapt to climate change.

The experts participating in this panel will discuss the actions required to help women adapt to climate change, especially in developing countries. The panel will also discuss the Government of Quebec's International Climate Cooperation Program, awarded by the UN in 2019, and the successful projects it has funded."

PANEL - A Different Impact for Women in Developing Countries

The effects of climate change vary by region, generation, age, social class, income and gender. The panel will also discuss the Government of Quebec's International Climate Cooperation Program, awarded by the UN in 2019, and the successful projects it has funded.
