Pascal BOYER, a graduate of the University of Limoges in France, has been active in the water sector since the start of his career. For 10 years, he held the position of Environment Manager within the ORANO group, a French company specializing in uranium and gold mining. He then worked in the field of vocational training with the International Office for Water, a world leader in water training. He founded and currently chairs the French company Futureau, which is specialized in labor recruitment in environmental fields, specifically water and polluted soils, and in the assessment of skills, training plans, and VAE support (Validation of Acquired Experience). He currently sits on the Board of Directors of SOLTENA (Solution for the Ecological Transition in New Aquitaine), a network of over 240 members consisting of companies, universities, research centers, municipalities, etc. He oversees SOLTENA’s water sector. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Regional Biodiversity Agency of New Aquitaine as well as President of ASTEE (Scientific and Technical Association for Water and Environment) for Limousin Poitou Charente. Since 2013, he also regularly accompanies French water companies, in particular the France Water Team, and puts them in touch with Quebec companies.
