Mr. Salvo holds a degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Engineering from Concordia University. He has over 30 years of experience in the municipal pipe design and rehabilitation industry. He has provided trenchless technology consulting services to municipalities since 1997. Some of these services include: pre-planning work to identify potential sewer and water main rehabilitation candidates, contract specifications and contract administration, as well as providing live watermain condition assessment.
Piero served as Chairman and International Representative of the North American Society for Trenchless Technologies (NASTT). He was the Vice-Chairman of the Potable Water Technical Committee for the InfraGuide on the Sustainability of Canadian Underground Infrastructures. He has taught a Short Course on Trenchless Technologies at North American No-Dig Conferences and is a current part time professor at Concordia University, teaching a Master’s course in Trenchless Technology.
