Active in the waste management sector for more than eighteen years, Philippe Vaillancourt holds a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and a master’s degree in environmental sciences.

His experience working for a consulting engineering firm, for which he worked from 2002 to 2013, allowed him to acquire solid expertise in waste management by working on numerous projects in the municipal sector, including production of invitation to tender documents, optimization studies, management plans and comparative studies of waste treatment technologies.

Working in the City of Laval since October 2013, Mr. Vaillancourt notably had the opportunity to work on the revision of several invitation to tender documents of the City, the revision of the Laval strategy and the planning of the implementation of the three-way collection. He currently holds the position of Division Head – Residual Materials at the Ville de Laval.
