Paula Urra

Ms. Urra holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke and a Master’s degree in Environment from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the Université de Montréal. She is currently Division Manager in the City of Montreal’s Environment Department, where she manages the City’s waste collection, transportation and treatment activities. She previously served as Program Manager for Environmental Law at the Commission for Environmental Cooperation. She has also led the work of the Tri-National Working Group on Law Enforcement and Compliance. Mrs. Urra also directed, between 2012 and 2014, the Environment Section of the Société des transports de Montréal where she ensured the realization of the Environmental Protection Plan and the implementation of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
