Mr. Nicolas Lauzière recently joined Maxxam to assume the role of Development Manager for the Mining Sector for Eastern Canada. Nicolas worked for the last 10 years as environmental consultant, engineer, metallurgist, production supervisor, manager and director of business development, for renowned companies in the environmental, industrial and mining sectors. and biotechnologies. Nicolas coordinated large-scale projects that involved overseeing multidisciplinary teams, training local labor, and integrating Aboriginal expertise and culture. He has also contributed to the growth of an Aboriginal firm offering environmental services in Quebec. Nicolas has managed and coordinated numerous projects related to environmental characterization, site rehabilitation and monitoring, as well as conducting fieldwork himself across Canada and in the Arctic. He has successfully supported the development of major industrial projects during the planning, exploration, development, permitting, construction, closure, and monitoring stages, with specialization in mining projects. He brings his experience and leadership by working in the Canadian mining sector to support the development of the mining program at Maxxam.
