Michel Vaillancourt

Michel Vaillancourt has been a professor at École de technologie supérieure since July 2012. Mr. Vaillancourt has expertise in road geotechnics and pavement design. From 2004 to 2012, he worked in the pavement and geotechnical road industry. The design of the roadway extension of Autoroute 30 (2007 to 2012) between Châteauguay and Vaudreuil is one of his major professional achievements. As a researcher, his main research focuses on the design of new pavements, the auscultation and rehabilitation of existing pavements, infrastructure soils and pavement materials. Since 2014, he has been working on a vast research project on the incorporation of post-consumer glass into pavement structures.
