Martin Chiasson

With a bachelor’s in civil engineering from Université de Moncton and a master’s in hydrogeology from École Polytechnique de Montréal, Martin Chiasson has served as Director, Environment and Sustainable Development for The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated since 2009. He is responsible for developing and implementing the Corporation’s sustainable development strategy while ensuring environmental compliance for the Corporation’s operations and major projects. He is also responsible for the application and periodic review of the Corporation’s environmental policy.

During his career, he served in an advisory role as a technical specialist in various positions before turning to environmental project management to execute and oversee environmental site assessments, rehabilitation plans, toxicological and ecotoxicological studies, and site remediation studies.
