Marie-Caroline Badjeck is a Senior Policy Analyst at the Clean Growth Hub, the Canadian federal government focal point for clean technology focused on supporting companies and projects, coordinating programs and tracking results. Prior to this position she worked at Environment and Climate Change Canada on federal climate change science and at Natural Resources Canada on climate change impacts and adaptation. Before joining the federal government in 2012, Marie-Caroline worked 10 years as a researcher and expert adviser on climate change, ecosystem-based adaptation and natural resources management in Peru, Asia and Africa. Throughout her career, she has also worked on water pollution issues and impact assessment of development projects. Marie-Caroline received a PhD in Economics and Social Sciences from Bremen University and completed her undergraduate degree in Environment and Development at McGill University and her MSc in Coastal Management at Newcastle University.
