Lucie founded Umalia with a fundamental belief that the societal mission and the pursuit of profits can and must go hand in hand. Umalia seeks to catalyze private sector’s engagement to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability and to create innovative multisector shared value partnerships, with a view to create positive commercial and societal impact.

Lucie brings 20 years of experience as a senior executive in global corporations in the areas of strategic planning, human resources, change management and CSR. She sits on numerous boards in Canada and internationally, including Humanity & Inclusion’s Federation Board and the Leadership Faculty of the Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability Institute of the Conference Board of Canada.

She possesses a Master of Science in Management at HEC and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Montréal. She is certified in change management and an affiliate of the Shared Value Initiative.
