Since 2008, Luc Verville has been Chief Investment Officer at Fondaction. Responsible, for the funds invested in major markets, Mr. Verville ensures compliance with investment policy and provides guidance to external managers, in addition to adjusting asset allocation according to financial market conditions. Coupled with several years of experience in the investment industry, Mr. Verville has good knowledge of different asset classes. Before joining CSN, he worked at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec for 15 years fulfilling different roles within the fixed income market team.
Receiving his bachelor’s degree from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and a master’s degree from the Université of Sherbrooke, he is also a lecturer for several universities. Mr. Verville also earned his CFA designation and completed the Montreal Exchange traders program. A fishing and golf enthusiast, he is one of Canada’s 100 golf course evaluators for SCOREGolf Magazine.
