Julien Beaulieu holds a bachelor’s degree in civil and environemental engineering from Concordia University and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Polytechnique Montréal. He is a college researcher at the Centre de transfert technologique en écologie industrielle. He is part of the Centre interdisciplinaire de recherche en opérationnalisation du développement durable and is a member of the International Society for Industrial Ecology. His research interests are material flow analysis, circular economy applied to territories and industries and life cycle assessment applied to industrial synergies. He co-facilitates the community of practice Synergie Québec since three years.
