Colin Jacob is an environmental professional who has worked for waste management companies for the past 5 years, where he has held roles in R&D, infrastructure and environmental compliance management. He has a strong background in applied research and has set up several collaborative projects between industry and academia, particularly in the area of plastics and organics recycling. He has been working as a project manager at the CTTÉI since January 2020, and was notably coordinator of the research work mandated by the CPT.
Colin has a longstanding interest in sustainable plastics management and innovative recycled plastic products. In 2016, he completed a master’s degree in research on the advanced characterization of plastics recovered from sorting centers and the development of recycled composite materials. His work has been published in the magazines Vecteur Environnement and Construction and Building Materials.
