Mr. Pelletingeas has more than six years of experience in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modelling, working on various projects and in different industrial sectors. He is presently a consultant as specialist in hydraulic modelling, and he is a member of Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers (France), as well as a Master’s degree from École de Technologie Supérieure in Montreal. During this period, he published an innovative paper in the Journal of Fluids Engineering. Now, he has been working for over two years at SNC-Lavalin, in the Water Infrastructure department, where his expertise in hydraulic modelling is used for several important rehabilitation projects of the drinking water storage facilities for the City of Montreal. Previously, he was employed by GE Renewable Energy in the R&D department, where he collaborated on developing innovative solutions for hydraulic turbine, by implementing CFD models.
