– Presentation 1 (Coming soon)

The transition to a circular economy is intensifying around the world. While Europe and Asia started the movement about ten years ago, the Americas, in turn, are following suit and gradually intensifying the implementation of initiatives towards this new system of production-consumption. The objective of this panel is first to provide a broad picture of what is emerging in the Americas in terms of the circular economy, and more specifically in Latin America, the United States, Canada and Quebec, where the movement began almost five years ago. In a second phase, the panelists will discuss the issues at stake, but also possible solutions to encourage greater cooperation at the continental level in order to accelerate the transition.
