– Enhancing the Value of the Textile Industry: The Case of Amsterdam

 -

REFLOW is an EU-funded project under the H2020 program that seeks to understand and transform urban material flows, to co-create and test regenerative solutions at business, governance and citizen levels, with the aim of creating a resilient circular economy. The Amsterdam pilot project focuses on increasing the collection of clothing, household linens and leisure (hotel linen) textiles at city level by involving citizens in a series of hands-on educational experiences, lectures and expert interviews that provide entry points for iterative learning. The Amsterdam Pilot aims to create an exchange system platform. This platform will track and trace materials, promote the achievement of circular flow and cycles, and incentivise business opportunities by promoting and mapping businesses involved in material recycling. www.reflowproject.eu
