Andrea Baldwin is the VP of Member and Advisory Services at Canadian Business for Social Responsibility (CBSR), based in Toronto. Andrea leads a team of advisors that guide and support CBSR’s network of large Canadian companies to advance their social and environmental performance.
Andrea’s areas of expertise include strategy development, project management and government relations. Most recently she has conducted strategic planning workshops with companies including Rogers, Aeroplan and First Calgary Savings, and has extensive experience in working with the financial services sector. Andrea recently developed and co-wrote the CSR Governance Guidelines. Prior to joining CBSR, Andrea worked as a Senior Project Leader for Boston Consulting Group where she focused on leading large scale strategic projects for profit and non-profit clients. Andrea is fluent in both French and Spanish and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Ottawa.
Andrea is on the Interim Executive Committee of the Federal Government’s CSR Centre for Excellence and speaks regularly at conferences. She is the author of several papers on social entrepreneurship and is the chair of a Toronto City Summit Alliance working group on poverty and income security. Andrea has also worked as a senior Project Leader for Boston Consulting Group and as the Charge d’affaires for the Canadian Embassy in Panama City.
